‘Forsaken’ is a track that embodies the concept of abandonment. Lyrically, it centres upon feeling shunned and essentially left in the dark by those around us and that’s largely conveyed in the form of a monologue in the chorus. Within the riffs and instrumentation, we also wanted to bring about this feeling of claustrophobia and feeling trapped within yourself. Encompassing elements from various Metal subgenres, ‘Forsaken’ takes many twists and turns along its path before it comes to a ferocious close.
