IT’S ALIVE!!! We couldn’t be more excited about the return of Fearless Vampire Killers… oh wait! We could, because they have chosen Silent Cult as their new home for their much awaited comeback!
Fearless Vampire Killers have announced their return, following last Friday’s sold out show at Camden’s Black Heart under the pseudonym After The Flames, supported by Silent Cult mates Miss Vincent.
You can pre-order their brilliantly ambitious double A-Side Something Terminal, due 1 April https://found.ee/fvk
“Something Terminal is a love letter to the band we were, a final acknowledgment of all our quirks and contradictions”, explains co-vocalist Laurence Beveridge, “We want to take our listeners on a journey, both lyrically and musically, through our history, and eventually our hopes for the future. The title track is expansive, perhaps a little indulgent, but truly in the spirit of what makes Fearless Vampire Killers so special. It’s a showcase of all the styles we’ve amassed over the years; the melodic synths, crushing riffs, the stripped back piano led theatrics”.
Something Terminal will be the band’s first release since 2015’s EP ‘Bruises’, capturing their penchant for dark theatrics, soaring melodies and unpredictable musicality. The title track boldly sits just under nine minutes and is a representation of the ups and downs of Fearless Vampire Killers’ turbulent journey, with ultimate focus on new beginnings. Delicate contrasts with its anthemic stomp, searing riffs and instantly grabbing chorus – surefire set to be a crowd pleaser.
